There are four steps to a healthy, lush lawn. In order of importance:
1) proper watering
2) proper mowing
3) proper fertilization
4) weed control
A J Southwest only controls numbers three and four. If you are watering and mowing correctly, then you will have a nice lawn. If the watering and mowing are not done correctly, any fertilization and weed control will not be very effective. We offer watering and mowing recommendations for all times of the year. If you have St. Augustine or Zoysia turf grass, our Premium Fungus Control package
is extremely helpful because of the much-needed additional nutrients applied and the
disease control. Overwatering St. Augustine and Zoysia in the Spring and Fall will lead to fungus on your turf grass! Follow our watering recommendations
to help keep this from happening.
If you have Bermuda turf grass, our Grub and Early Season Armyworm control, and my Fall Armyworm and Late Season Grub control services are fantastic for the same
reasons.
